PHOTO PAGES

I've had the good fortune, in recent years, to travel a great deal, both for work and pleasure. I've also had the fortune to photograph the places I've visited, with a decent measure of creative success. The walls of my living room are decorated with my photos, and I actually printed a calendar last year, given to friends and colleagues as a holiday gift (stay tuned for an opportunity to order [at cost] this year's calendar). I work mainly with a trusty, 6-year old Canon Sureshot, and have supplemented lately with my Canon ZR65MC Digital Video Camera (upgraded to a ZR200 in 2005). I still trust film more, and know what the camera can do- the lion's share of images presented on these pages came from the old-timer. Details of the adventures documented here are contained within the individual pages. All of the images herein are copyrighted, but give a shout if you'd like to use my photos as a background or for your own pleasure- I'm unlikely to deny permission. Without further ado, here's the pictures, organized in geographic fashion. More will come as time goes on!
Recent Addition

I've just added my "Bird Image Library" (see the link below); I've been working on this for some time, as a way to both catalogue the images I've got scattered on the pages throughout this site, and as a venue for the many stock bird images that are from occasions not represented by webpages. I've got thousands of photos here, representing over 200 species, and I've tried to include some salient commentary regarding the species in general, or the circumstances in which I filmed the particular bird. I'm up-to-date as best as possible through my big trip to Panama in July of 2005. I hope you find the pages of interest, and perhaps a bit educational. As usual, I welcome comments and/or editorial advice- feel free to e-mail me. Enjoy!
