Black-breasted Puffbird
Notharcus pectoralis

Black-breasted Puffbird is one of several members of this intriguing neotropical family found regularly around Panama's Canopy Tower. My looks at this species have been typically distant, so I was grateful for the opportunity to film this perched bird from the Tower in July of 2005.

A good look at the handsome Black-breasted Puffbird.
