| I've seen this tiny bird of prey a few times, first in Trinidad and later in Panama, but this bird, perched along Old Gamboa Road in September of 2004, has thus far been the only one close enough to capture on film. I've only seen the species in flight once, and noted the bat-like silhouette that gives this lovely bird its name. |
